Facial Dominance
The face can be divided into three areas horizontally. When one area is larger or smaller than the other two, it indicates an emphasis on the traits associated with that part of the face. If the areas appear to be nearly equal, dominance is not important in interpretation of personality traits. Here's a brief summary:

- Large upper area (from original hairline to eyebrows - not a receding hairline - rather large forehead area.) This person tends to focus on ideas and information. He loves distinctions of how one thing is different from another. He tends to enjoy the world of ideas and wants to acquire knowledge. He tends to like complete explanations with all the details.
- Large middle area (from eyebrows to nose tip.) This person tends to be ambitious and appreciates quality. His focus is on status, luxury and quality. He tends to have a secret desire to be envied by everyone for his success. He enjoys the status of having the best. He needs to be shown how an item is better than what he already has, or how it will improve his status or success quotient.
- Large lower area (nose tip to bottom of chin.) This person tends to want practical applications of ideas and is well-grounded. He tends to be physically tough, solid and earthy with a good sense of self and his physical surroundings. He needs time to make up his mind and refuses to be rushed. When he has a problem or needs to make a decision, he thinks best when he can walk around or do something physical. When he speaks up in a group, others tend to listen because he projects integrity and sincerity.
- Small upper area (forehead is smallest area.) This person tends to be persistent and determined. He can be very intense. Once he decides on a goal, he will let nothing stand in the way of obtaining it.
- Small middle area (nose area is smallest.) This person tends to be a hard worker and well-respected. His challenge is in receiving the financial reward he deserves for his effort.
- Small lower area (chin area is smallest.) This person tends to be sensitive and not physically grounded. He is a person of the mind and more connected to his inner world than the outer world. He tends to be extremely sensitive to criticism. He may not enjoy physical exercise and will do it only when necessary. He may occasionally lose his sense of direction or forget people's names.
