Cleansing Energy of the Past
This is a helpful exercise to do daily to let go of negative emotions and grievances that block the ability to move on with your life. If someone disturbs you or has disturbed you:
Start by remembering the person who disturbs you. Bring them into your mind's eye with as much detail as possible. See their face, body, their mannerisms. Hear their voice.
When the image is clear in your mind, imagine that this person is truly happy and smiling. Something very good has happened to this person. Hold this image for one to two minutes.
In your mind's eye, draw a pink circle around this person. Now, very slowly and gently break this circle, dissolving the image of the person with it. As you do this, try to feel a release from the energy of the past that was binding you to this person and also happiness that you have just seen this person filled with joy. Remember these sensations and fix them in your memory.
You may find yourself in a place where this person lives, works or other environment where unpleasant feelings overtake you. Simply smile and remember the sensations you experienced when you dissolved the pink circle. Say to yourself, "I am not feeling anything. You are forgiven. You are released."
