Black Pepper Helps Awake and Protect
Black pepper is a powerful scent that can make one sneeze if smelling the powdered herb. However, sneezes can be avoided if a few peppercorns are crushed in a mortar and pestle and then sniffed, or a sniff is taken from a bottle of pepper essential oil. The powerful scent of pepper is helpful for sharpening mental faculties and energizing the body. A quick sniff can also help one to remain awake. Pepper is also attributed with having a protective quality when combined with visualization. Here is an exercise to practice once a day for a week to build up your natural self-defensive energies that will repel negativity of all kinds.
During the day, while alone, crush three or four peppercorns or place two drops of black pepper essential oil onto a cotton ball.
Strongly visualize a whirlwind surrounding your body -- a psychic force so powerful that it knocks away all incoming negative energy.
Sniff the warm, protective odor as you visualize the whirlwind.
Fuse the scent of the pepper and your visualization in your conscious mind.
Maintain this focus for 15 to 30 seconds.
Repeat once a day for a week.
When danger or negativity threatens, recall the scent and the visualization.
Black Pepper is also helpful to sniff before making an important phone call, confronting an audience or prior to any nerve wracking situation. You can take in the strength of black pepper to see you through rough times and bolster your courage.
