Orange Calcite Boosts Vitality When Walking

The word calcite comes from the Latin word calx and the Greek word calix, meaning lime.  Calcite is commonly found embedded in limestone and marble.  Orange calcite is associated with the sun and its warm, orange color is associated with being a potent energizer.    Orange calcite is translucent with a waxy appearance.  It is commonly available.  Qualities attributed to orange calcite include cleansing and energizing, combating lethargy, encouraging action, relieving fear and reducing depression.  Calcite is attributed with having a favorable influence on the kidneys and bladder, heals reproductive and digestive disorders, alleviates irritable bowel syndrome and aids fatigue and increases energy.  Here's a handy way to tap into the benefits of orange calcite during a long walk.
(1) When you feel yourself tiring during a long walk, do a few stretches and massage your calves.
(2) Take out your orange calcite crystal and hold it in your hands until you feel a slight tingling or pulsating sensation - this is how it starts to energize you.
(3) Hold the crystal on each leg for a few minutes to ease the muscle tension and increase the blood flow.
(4) If you regularly suffer muscle tiredness when walking, tape a crystal to each leg as you walk to ease the pain.  Source: Crystal Energy by Mary Lambert.
