Mirror Exercise for Stress Relief

This is a five minute exercise that is beneficial to do at the end of the day.  It helps to remove any negative influences, sense of discomfort, stress or imbalances you developed during the day.
(1) Make sure your mirror is clean.
(2) Sit or stand in front of the mirror.
(3) Think about your day while gazing into your eyes and watching your facial expression.
(4) Recall both the positive and negative emotions that arose during the day.
(5) As you explore your reactions and assess whether or not they were accurate, you will put a sense of closure on the day.
