The west part of your home is associated with the desire to be wealthy, feeling romantic and being content. The northwest part of your home relates to feeling in control, being organized and acting with wisdom. These aspects of your life could be disrupted If you have anything that generates fire chi in these sections, (examples of items that generate fire chi are a boiler, gas or electric cooker, fireplace or oven.) The west and northwest areas are associated with metal chi. Metal chi can be destroyed by fire chi when a deficiency of soil chi is in the area. To treat this disruption, add more soil chi to harmonize the fire and metal chi. The easiest way to add soil chi is to put some artist charcoal sticks into a clay pot and place the clay pot on a yellow cloth. Other items that help to add soil chi include anything made of clay, an object that is yellow and has a low, flat shape, earth for plants, or a yellow flowering plant in a clay container. If you have located fire chi objects in your west or northwest portions of your home, then place your clay pot with charcoal in it on a yellow cloth as close as possible to the boiler, cooker, fireplace or oven.
