Housecleaning Using Essential Oils
Essential oils can make your housecleaning a breeze. Try these handy tips:
Fir, lemon or spruce work well for polishing furniture as well as cleaning and disinfecting the bathroom and kitchen. Just put a few drops on your dust cloth or add 10 drops to water in a spray bottle, then mist the area to be cleaned. Lemon oil is also terrific for dissolving gum and grease. When doing the dishes, a couple of drops of lemon in the dishwater will make the dishes sparkle and the kitchen smell great. For the laundry, adding oils to the washer can increase the antibacterial benefits and clothes will come out with a refreshing, clean smell.
