Honoring Intention

Intention has a powerful influence on the direction our lives can take.  To change your direction, each day, examine your choices, behaviors and thoughts while asking "Does this honor me?"   As you make this question a focused part of your life, you will see major differences in how you feel and what you attract into your life.  Self-honoring choices promote dignity, authentic power and a sense of balance in your life.  To achieve positive outcomes to your choices, behaviors and thoughts, you must be persistent in the decision to respect yourself and others.  Even minor choices can cause your personal energy to vibrate with very clear signals about whether or not you are honoring yourself and attracting a life you desire.  To make positive progress toward the direction you choose, you must be unwavering in your intention to make self-honoring a way of life.  Here are some suggestions to get you started:
(1) Notice the times when you may be ignoring or even sacrificing your honor as you go about your daily activities.  Take a moment to ask: "Does this honor me?"  Ask this of the words you use, the food you eat, the activities you engage in, the people you connect with, and the thoughts you think.  If the answer is "No" then consider the honoring option to implement and make it a priority.
(2) Do at least one good thing for yourself each day.  Choose something purposeful, enjoyable, fulfilling or just relaxing.  Create a sense of balance in your life, take care of yourself and make your own goals and happiness a priority.  Remember that if you don't make yourself a priority, the Universe will follow your intention.  Source: 28 Days to a More Magnetic Life by Sandra Anne Taylor.
