Feng shui antidotes are also known as cures or treatments and are available for most feng shui problems. Some work better than others and correctly choosing an antidote is a skill to be developed. Here is a brief list of antidotes:
- bright lights dissolve bad energy
- Yang energy (lights, sound, bright colors) overcome excessive Yin energy
- wind chimes, especially four-rod wind chimes diffuse bad energy
- the PaKua mirror deflects killing energy
- bells and singing bowls purify stagnant space
- crystals soften excessive Yang energy
- colors correct element imbalance
- curtains and blinds deflect bad energy
- the compass is used to change to more auspicious directions
- the five element therapy is used to correct disharmony
