Love It Use It Lose It
Every item in your environment is affecting you and your life. Keep only those things that you either truly love or really use. If you want to make changes in your life, take the time to go through all of your possessions and see if you have out-grown any of them. Just because something is beautiful or expensive doesn't mean you love it or are nourished by having it around. Let your emotions be your guide when you are deciding what items to keep and what items to eliminate from your environment. You can have a yard sale, donate items to charity or books to the library. As you sort through your things and decide what to keep and what to get rid of, focus on surrounding yourself only with things that have positive energy. When you are done, make a statement to support your intention. For instance, you could say: "I consciously choose to surround myself with things that nourish and support me." Then take a moment to admire how much better your home looks without a lot of clutter. Visualize a specific outcome you would like to realize from cleaning up your clutter and also imagine that it has already manifested in your life. Source: Fast Feng Shui by Stephanie Roberts.
