Repairing Your Aura
We are generally aware of ways to strengthen and heal our physical body and ways to develop other areas of our life through emotional growth and meditation. However, we are often totally unaware of our personal energy represented by our aura. Perhaps this oversight is due to the fact that many of us have diminished our ability to sense our aura and subsequently assume it doesn't exist. I find it often helps to think of the aura as a field of energy that surrounds my body and has the ability to expand or contract depending on my emotional, physical or mental state. I also like to think within this field of energy resides a holographic web that has encoded information, each particle vibrantly alive with an energy source, capable of storing past experiences while also bringing to me new energy from the greater universe. Here are some exercises to help you get in touch with your aura and to also strengthen it.
(1) If you feel out of sorts, distraught, or confused, surround yourself with an ultraviolet shield. You may not be able to see it, but your body will know it exists. If disruptive energies are coming from someone else, they will leave. When you form this shield, you may see the sender's face or think of him or her. If so, just send blessings to the person, they may be having a difficult day.
(2) Fill the area around you with love and blessings. This will help modify what comes to you and what you send out.
(3) Check your etheric web in your aura. Do you feel holes or open spaces? If so, visualize any negative energy you feel reverse itself and go back out the hole. Then imagine the hole coming together and closing. Send extra energy to reinforce the hole. You will know you have successfully closed the hole if you feel better. If not, repeat the process with strong thoughts of reversing the negative energy and closing the hole.
(4) Ask if the hole or disturbance you feel in your aura is caused by a past event that you need to deal with. Focus your energy on where the hole is and go into a relaxed mental state (reverie state) and see what information comes to you. The hole might be caused by strong spiritual energy coming to you in the form of new information. By focusing on the hole and being in a state of reverie you will be receptive to receiving and understanding the information presented to you.
