Water Scents
A water element can help enhance emotional connections and underscore compassion in the work environment. A water scent can be a catalyst to achieving flexibility as well provide an atmosphere of insightfulness and acceptance. Use water scents to increase the desire to nurture as well as to maintain flexibility.
Scents that increase the water element are:
Geranium rose, juniper berry, red thyme and jasmine.
When emotions are high or a major change is under way, reduction of the water element can be stabilizing and soothing. If you feel emotionally needy, temperamental or critical, introduce the earth element into your environment. When you feel your input will be rejected, shore up your emotional stability by reducing water's presence.
Scents that reduce an overabundance of visual water elements are:
Sweet marjoram, cardamom, grapefruit and coriander.
