Fire Scents
Scents can be associated with the five elements in feng shui. Fire scents promote intellectual acuity, competitiveness, enthusiasm, and quick responses. If you could use a bit of energy during your day or kick-start to your motivation, fire scents can be a supportive element. Use fire scents with discretion because overuse causes extreme fatigue and depletion of energy.
Scents that increase the fire element:
Lemon balm, melissa, rose, ylang-ylang, jasmine, ginger, laurel, rosemary and tea tree.
When too many fire elements exist in your red environment, add a triangular pattern or use an earth scent to reduce the excessive fire element.
Scents that reduce an overabundance of visual fire element are:
Grapefruit, cardamom, fennel, sandalwood, geranium.
