Anger Release
Try this exercise the next time you need to rid yourself of anger. You will need one apophyllite, amethyst or lapis lazuli crystal (or you could try a combination of two or all three to see which works best for you.)
(1) Sit comfortably on a chair with your feet flat on the floor, or cross-legged on the floor.
(2) Bring to mind the image of the person or situation towards which your anger is directed.
(3) Say in your mind or out loud, why you feel resentment, hurt or anger.
(4) Pick up the crystal and hold it in your hands.
(5) Say either in your mind or out loud, that in the past you have felt anger toward this person or situation, but now you are going to do your best to release it.
(6) Say either in your mind or out loud, words of release. Here's an example: "I release my anger and forgive you." As you do, imagine that the anger is draining away, leaving your mind and body at peace. (Note: forgiveness does not mean acceptance; rather you are choosing to release the emotion you attached to the person or situation and move on.) Source: Crystal Basics by Brenda Rosen.
