Keep Chi from Flowing Out
A hallway that cuts straight through your house from the front entry to the back door is thought to funnel chi (energy) out the back before it has a chance to nourish the home. You can slow down the flow of chi and direct it to other areas of the house with:
(1) A carpet or runner with a pattern that runs across the width of the hallway
(2) A faceted crystal ball, a crystal chandelier, or wind chime halfway down the hallway
(3) A faceted crystal ball outside the doorway to each room that opens off the corridor
(4) A round table in the center of the foyer (if there's enough room) to slow down and redirect the chi.
As you place your cures, focus on preventing chi from flowing out the back door before it has had time to nourish your home.
When you have completed your cure, make a statement to support your intention such as: "All areas of my home are now well-nourished by an abundant flow of chi."
Stand in your hallway for a few moments and visualize a specific improvement you hope to gain by improving the circulation of chi through your home. Picture the outcome in your mind as if it has already happened. Source: Fast Feng Shui by Stephanie Roberts.
