Citrus Absorbs Negativity

This orange peel feng shui cure removes stale or negative chi (energy) from your home.  Buy fresh oranges for this cure rather than using oranges you already have.  (1) Peel three fresh oranges and tear each peel into nine pieces (for a total of 27 pieces.)  Place the torn pieces in a large bowl and add about one cup of bottled or filtered water. (2) Standing in the center of each room, dip your fingers in the orange-scented water and flick some of it in all directions while saying "om mani padme hum" nine times while pointing your index and pinky fingers straight out and curling your middle and ring finger toward the palm then holding them in place with your thumb (if you are a woman, do this with your right hand, a man would use his left hand).  Flick the middle and ring finger out, dispelling negative energy.  At the same time, visualize negative chi being dispersed.  (3) Take a piece of orange peel and break off little bits, scattering them all around the sides of the room, repeat in each room of the house.  If there is orange peel and water left, place the bowl in the center of the house.  (4) Leave the orange peel and bowl of water in place for 24 hours.  It will absorb negative chi, which you can then easily remove from your space as you sweep or vacuum up the bits of orange peel and throw them away.  As you prepare this cure, focus on removing negative energy from your home.  When you are done, make a statement to support your intention such as "All negative chi is now effectively removed from this space and can no longer affect me or my family."  As you flick the water and scatter the pieces of orange peel, visualize all negative energy being absorbed by the orange peel.  As you vacuum or sweep them up the next day, visualize sweeping up and discarding all negative energy.  Source: Fast Feng Shui by Stephanie Roberts.
