Increase Your Stamina With Acupressure

Here are a few acupressure points to press when you need a boost in your energy level:
- Apply pressure with your thumbs to the hollow at the base of the skull
- Locate the neck muscle that extends from the back of your ear and attaches to the breastbone. (The sternocleidomastoid muscle.)  You can press both side of your neck at the same time by using the thumb and starting at the base of the throat, place your other fingers on the back of the neck.  Squeeze the muscle then move up toward the head an inch and squeeze.  Continue moving up the neck until you get to the skull.  Do this two times.
- Stand against a door frame while pressing your upper back (between the shoulder blade and spinal column) against the protruding edge of the door frame.  Move your feet forward so you are creating pressure on your back.  Move from side to side as if scratching your back.  Repeat on the other side of the spinal column.  Note: Always consult a medical professional for your specific health issue.   Source: Acupuncture Without Needles by J.V.
