Color Blue

Sky blue is the color of communication that is inspired and true.  When you are in balance with sky blue you are able to speak your personal truth and listen to others as they speak theirs.  Blue is associated with the fifth (throat) chakra.  Sky blue's element is sound and it has a resonating energy.  Blue stones are turquoise, aquamarine, danburite.  Blue foods are melons of all kinds, fruits and blueberries, water is especially beneficial from a blue colored jar that has absorbed sunshine.    Blue's life energy is sound vibration, its scents are eucalyptus and frankincense.  The musical note associated with blue is G and Kamael-Tzadkiel is the archangel associated with blue.  If you have a positive relationship with the sky blue, most likely you are: able to clearly speak your truth, are a good listener, are tolerant of others' style of communication, honest, have a tendency to gravitate toward and love music, are verbally responsive in large groups, able to ask for the things you need, have an accurate sense of righteousness, have the will to stand behind your truth in an appropriate way.  However, if you are lacking in sky blue, most likely you will: feel somewhat timid or shy, have a tendency to extend the truth beyond its natural boundaries, an inability to hear the meaning behind what others are saying, unable to understand and follow the rules of fair play, tend to "swallow" words you would like to say for fear that they will be too confrontational, unable to write well, have a tendency to lose track of old friends because of the requirement to communicate over distances and tend to think that others have something more important to say than you do.  To re balance your relationship with sky blue, you might want to try: singing to yourself in the shower, call someone you haven't talked to in a while and enjoy a lively conversation, burn frankincense in your home, buy some eucalyptus fronds and put them in a vase (if they get dusty, rinse them to renew the scent), pay attention to how sky blue might be manifesting in your life.  For instance, do you frequently have unexplained throat irritations, particularly after a confrontation in which you did not get to say what you wanted to?  Do you sing well?  Do you like the sound of your voice?  Add more sky blue color in your environment and clothing. If you have an excess of sky blue, you might experience: an unbridled sense of righteousness, an inclination to speak your mind in an inappropriate manner (yelling at the wrong time to the wrong person), prone to ignore what others have to say, have a tendency to dominate conversations, have a need for music that blares and bangs, have a desire for freedoms that constantly challenge authority, are politically extreme, have the habit of using words as weapons (sardonic, sarcastic, snide).  To re balance your relationship with sky blue you might want to try: developing a relationship with the color peach by adding the color to your environment, spend one hour of each day trying hard to listen to others without interjecting your thoughts.  To comment on their conversations, say things such as: "Really? Tell me more.  That's very interesting."  Listen to classical music that features string instruments and flutes, try giving an honest compliment to each person you meet in a given day, try spending an entire day speaking in lowered vocal tones.  Notice whether people ask you to repeat yourself and how that feels.  Source: The Rainbow Guide to Color Energy by Cynthia C.
