The Happy Phoenix Exercise
The happy phoenix exercise is believed to be good for your overall health if you do it faithfully each day. Here are the easy steps to follow.
(1) Stand straight, left leg half a step in front of the right. Feet should be shoulder-width apart. Knees slightly bent, spine straight, tail bone tucked in.
(2) Extend both arms straight in front, palms down. Bend from the waist, keeping the spine straight. Bend forward and down about 20 degrees, keeping your spine straight. At the same time you bend forward, let your arms swing back as if you are about to dive into a pool of water.
(3) Look down as you bend forward, then straighten up. Repeat this movement nine times. Source: The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Feng Shui by Lillian Too.
