The Breath of Life
This technique was developed by P.K. Ivanov. It is called "The Breath of Life."
(1) Go outside and stretch your head gently upwards, looking up to the sky.
(2) Open your mouth and slowly inhale through your nose (it is important you inhale through the nose). Imagine you are drawing in air from the sky above.
(3) At the natural end of the inhale, instead of exhaling, swallow. (This can take some practice so don't worry if you don't get it right straight away.) As you swallow, visualize life energy of the inhaled air spreading right through your body.
(4) Exhale through the nose and repeat the sequence.
This is a powerful exercise and you should not perform it more than three or four times consecutively. However, you can perform it at various times during the day.
