How to Feel Chakras
The chakras are like batteries located in certain parts of your body. The electromagnetic energy is stronger in these areas and you can feel them with your hands. The seven chakras are aligned along the spinal column:
The root chakra is situated at the base of the spine.
The Sacral chakra is situated halfway between your pubic bone and navel.
The Solar chakra is situated at the level of your solar plexus.
The Heart chakra is situated between the shoulder blades in line with your heart.
The Throat chakra is situated at the level of the throat.
The Brow chakra is situated at the level of your forehead, slightly above your eyebrows.
The Crown chakra is situated at the top of your head.
The heart chakra is the easiest to feel. Hold your hand about twelve inches away from your chest and slowly bring it closer to your body. Pause when you feel a slight resistance. (Instead of resistance, you might feel a tingling sensation, warmth or coolness.) Draw your hand away until the resistance goes, then bring it toward your body again to experience the sense of resistance. Once you are certain that you have felt your heart chakra you can start feel it for size and shape. You will find that it is shaped like a cone or trumpet, and it will feel surprisingly solid. After you have examined your heart chakra, you can start feeling for the others. Source: Color Magic for Beginners by Richard Webster.
