Training Your Eyes to See Auras
Learning to soft focus your eyes is crucial for learning to see auras. Here are some exercises to help train your vision. (1) Place an 8 x 10 inch sheet of white paper on the surface of a table. (2) Place a hot pink 3-inch square of paper in the center of the white paper. (3) Put your hand as close to your eyes as you can while still being able to focus on it clearly (usually about 6 inches away from your face). (4) Maintaining the same focus you have while looking at your hand closely, look at the pink square of paper which should be about 3 feet away from you. Everything within your vision should be blurred except your hand. If what you see is not blurred, unfocus your eyes until it is. (5) Continue looking at the pink square and slowly count to 45. You should start to see a bright green color extending from the edges of the pink square. If not, start over and this time look at the paper and count to 60. It's hard to keep your eyes unfocused for this length of time but if you can you will most likely see the color green emanate around the edges of the pink paper. (6) If not, soft focus your eyes again and look at the pink square for a count of 45 or 60 then slowly remove the pink square while continuing to look at the area where the pink paper was. You should be seeing a green square on the white paper. This green square is the afterimage of the pink square. (7) Try this exercise with different colors of 3 inch squares. You will find that with practice you will be able to see the complementary color. For instance, a blue square will have an orange afterimage, a purple square will have a yellow afterimage. If you wear glasses, try this exercise with and without wearing your lenses to see which works best for you. Source: Powers That Be by Walter Woods.
