My Opinion vs Your Opinion

Our daily interactions with others give us many opportunities to revisit the basis for our opinions. Issues that seem absolute truth to one seem pure folly to another.  But the interesting thing is that whichever side of the issue we might be on, we will find some way to make that position a reality for us.  I know people who have the opinion that life will provide whatever they might need in spite of meager resources and what others would consider limited opportunity.  They manage to get from day to day, to meet their obligations and to give genuine care and understanding to others.  I think of them as gentle souls with a focus on having a caring outlook rather than one of physical accumulation.  Somehow, life does seem to provide the necessary elements to let them live with dignity in spite of such meager resources.  I also know others who are very successful at accumulating great amounts of physical wealth and material possessions.  Some seem to appreciate their success and enjoy sharing it with others.  Others seem to still feel a significant lack and sense of struggle in spite of outward signs of success.  The end result is that we each fill our lives with what we think we deserve - like it or not.
