Releasing Jealousy and Resentment
Lightly touching specific fingers together comes from an ancient yogic tradition called mudras. If you find yourself feeling out of sorts, here is a way to calm your inner world. (1) You can touch your thumb with the middle finger. Close your eyes and breathe deeply as you touch the tip of your thumb to the middle finger tip. Hold this hand position for two minutes. The thumb represents willpower and the middle finger governs mental and emotional well-being. (2) Grasp the thumb of the opposite hand. Breathe deeply and hold for two minutes. (3) Hold the middle finger with the opposite hand and you can calm your inner and outer world. Breathe deeply and hold for two minutes.
