Today I had a minor repair completed on my car.  I always have internal conflict when something needs to be repaired.  I've watched many a friend spend dollar after dollar to fix an old appliance or an old car that ended up being replaced shortly after significant money had been spent on repairs.  It's almost as if the manufacturer built in planned obsolescence.  My car is reaching that dilemma point of repair or replace.  Normally this would be a fairly easy decision for me but I happen  to really like this car.  I've kept it longer than I normally keep a car.  Of course I could purchase a newer version but with the current state of the economy and jobs, I'm not so sure I want to take on more obligations at this time.  So I  continue to search my mind repair or replace.....it's not an easy choice.
