Chakras and Seven-Year Cycles

Here's another way to look at some of the more global influences in our daily lives.  Chakras are energy centers located in the body and there are a number of books and articles readily available to explain more about the concept if this sparks your interest.  You can also visit our companion site Mindprompts.com by clicking on the link at the end of this post.
Yoga teaching links the seven major chakras to seven-year time periods that start with one's birth.  The cycles repeat at age 50 but at a higher frequency of energy.

15-21 and 64-70    Third/Solar Plexus Chakra
Development of personality and feelings, wisdom, expansion and limitless possibilities.
22-28 and 71-77    Fourth/Heart Chakra
Love, compassion, selflessness, development of healing skills in self and others, working to heal the earth.
29-35 and 78-84    Fifth/Throat Chakra
Communication, self-expression, inspiration, independence, openness to higher development, speaking with wisdom
36-42 and 85-91    Sixth/Brow Chakra

43-49 and 92-98    Seventh/Crown Chakra
Time of inner work, unity, enlightenment, inner spiritual transition, contemplation and meditation
