You can use numerology to have a better understanding of major trends that might be unfolding in your life.  Just add the numbers of the month and day of your birth to the year of interest.  For instance, if you were born on July 3 and would like to know the major trends for 2009, you would add 7+3+2+0+0+9 = 21.  Reduce this to a single number by adding 2+1 = 3.  (Do not reduce the master numbers of 11 or 22).  Some of the qualities associated with the number 3 are: expansion, achievement, luck.  You can use this calculation for past, present or future years.  Source:  Predicting Your Future by Crescent.
