Journaling
Journal writing is an excellent way to develop intimacy with your feelings, to expose the voice of your soul. Without this type of dialog, we never fully understand who we are. The purpose of journal writing is to lose control, to dig into yourself and let your innermost secrets be revealed. Journal writing is not only about self-evaluation, it is about getting the blood moving, stepping into a world where there is no shame, embarrassment, fear, or criticism. It is in this landscape that the soul feels comfortable to express itself through poems, fantasies, dreams, stories. When we are emotionally uninhibited, it is easy to be psychic. We can talk to ourselves without restraint, let the messages that our conscious mind has been resisting come rushing through our pen. A journal should be safe only in the sense that it is private.
