Team Player
It's a given fact that if you work in a confined environment, you had better figure out some way to be a team player. But close quarters and scarce resources make for some interesting competition. So how do you keep a sense of identity that lets you stand out in the crowd and still be a team player? I'm currently working in a situation that outwardly states promotion of a team situation but the behavior is certainly individualistic. I'm wondering if this is an "age" thing since I am the oldest person on the "team" or if it's a man/woman thing since I'm also the only woman on the "team"...or maybe it's an ethnic thing, since I'm the only Caucasian on the "team"...so I have lots questions and few answers as to how I can be a star performer and effective team member.

When men and women agree, it is only in their conclusions; their reasons are always different.
