I'm currently experiencing great changes in my work environment and these changes aren't necessarily easy to digest.  At this point in my life I am wanting to have a job that gives me a sense of accomplishment.  I also want to work in an environment that is pleasant, safe and supportive.  Unfortunately, none of these desires are currently being met so I am faced with a difficult decision of either adapting to the changed environment and lowering my standards of what I deem acceptable or to seek other sources of income.  Neither prospect is appealing at this moment.  I've worked in a number of different companies and the one thing that does seem common is that the company I join changes rather quickly to one I would not choose to join.  I then find myself in the dilemma of what to do about it...generally I seek out a new environment and the whole process starts over.  This time around I'm going to try something different, I'm going to try adjusting to the new situation as best I can rather than run to yet another new place.  I do not look forward to the idea of staying in an unhealthy environment  but perhaps the lesson I have yet to learn is that I can be in an environment and not take on its characteristics.
