Talent

We all have some special talent.  I've known very talented dancers who rarely danced.  Singers who rarely sang,  craftspeople who lived in crumbling homes.  Often talent is so obvious and strong that the pursuit of expression becomes a life-long endeavor.  However, there are those of us who have talent but seem to have very successfully hidden it.  Some of us find it later in life.  That is, after we've gone down a road that may have been selected by parents or other authority figures who are prone to say "Johnny, you're a natural quarterback!"  (However, Johnny just might be happier as a comedian.)  Or we may have been like a ball in a pinball machine, ricocheting from here to there with no specific purpose other than paying the rent.  We take our talent to the grave rather than sharing it with others.
