Clutter

Clutter can follow me like a shadow.  From time to time I plow through the house and remove anything that can't justify staying.  But lo and behold, it seems that just moments later different stuff has magically appeared.  I've come to realize that my clutter seems to result from my inability to make an immediate decision.  I tend to delay the inevitable and while I'm in decision limbo, stuff just hangs around.  My grandmother saved everything because she came from the depression era and couldn't shake the idea that any day everything could disappear.  So the closet was full of large balls of rubber bands, empty coffee cans, paper bags, anything that "might" be used some day.  I seem to have taken on some of those traits but instead of balls of string, I want to hold onto old notebook computers, all the connecting chords, all the power supplies for any type of electronic device I've ever had.  Oh, and of course, all the CD's for various versions of software to reinstall something in case something crashes.
