Aging With Style
I'm not ready to sink into a closet full of dusters and mu-mu dresses - just yet! I'm also not wanting to subject my thighs to mini skirts, nor my butt to cinnamon bun exposing tight skirts. So, there must be something between the too big and the too tight world of clothing for women over 50. That is, clothing that's interesting, flattering to a mature woman and in today's environment, affordable. I've learned to shop in unexpected places for accent pieces and unique (for my age) articles of clothing. Often the clearance rack has surprises that can be used for an evening of dancing. Boutiques that cater to a younger clientele have interesting tops, belts and other accessories. But wouldn't it be great to have a stylish designer promote 50+ models wearing workable wardrobes that take us from day to evening with a great sense of style, great color combinations and financial efficiency? Velcro and elastic waist bands are about as exciting to me as spandex....where's the trash bin?
